Krüger’s sewerage and wastewater departments are the largest engineering departments of its kind in Denmark. Krüger’s wastewater department has constructed about 80% of Danish wastewater treatment facilities during the period 1970–1990 and delivered advanced real time process control systems to over 25 wastewater treatment plants. Krüger’s sewerage department has many years of experience in working with most aspects of sewerage systems including planning, modelling, risk analysis, monitoring, advanced data management, real time control, design, supply and installation of new advanced equipment such as flushing systems, screens and gates. Krüger’s planning and design is always based on a holistic and in-depth understanding of the hydrological, hydraulic, chemical and bacteriological processes involved, combined with understanding of regulatory demands and public expectations.
